Salmonella coming right up.
Yes, this is a restaurant. Yes, I'm cooking my own food. Yes, I paid to do this.

My first experience having to cook my own food at a restaurant was in the States & my first reaction was, "I have to pay to cook my own food?" Long story short I didn't go back to that kind of restaurant until I got to Korea.

Korea is known for barbecue, but there's other places where you may have to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Dakgalbi 닭갈비 is one of my favorites with spicy stir fried chicken. Samgyeopsal 삼겹살 (as seen in this picture) with grilled pork belly is growing on me too. Eating is always an occasion in Korea & the food has yet to disappoint. I'm not ashamed to say going out to eat has become almost a daily event. I'm getting the cultural experience.

Living in Korea has me doing all kinds of shit I never would've done back home. Stretching outside of my comfort zone on a daily basis & eating good in the process. At this rate I may never leave so if you need me you know where to find me 🤷🏾♀️
